“Valsad Navsari Jilla Fal Ane Shakbhaji Sahakari Sangh Ltd.” owner of brand “AMIDHARA” is a federal Co-Op Society registered in 1968 under The Gujarat State Co-Op Society Act Vide Registration No. S31/20-01-1968., having primary Horticulture Farmers Co-Op Societies as its members. Our trademark is “VJFS”. The area of Navsari and Valsad District was very active during freedom movement of India. Historical place “DANDI” known for “DANDI MARCH” of 1930 by Mahatma Gandhiji is located in Navsari District. The Density of freedom fighters is highest in this region all over India. All such Gandhian-Freedom fighters had involved themselves in Co-Operative movement during 1940-1950 after 2nd world war and Independence of India. As a result of their collective efforts all primary Co-Operative Society are established. With financial supports of such Co-Operative Societies, Horticulture has been developed in the Area. And then VJFS was registered as a federal Co-Operative Society of such primary Co-Op. Societies. There are 22 primary Co-Operative society members of VJFS with 45000 farmer members. Navsari, Valsad and Dang are Horticulture districts known for Kesar and Alphonso Mango, Chikoo, Banana and Vegetables like Tomato, Brinjal, Okra, Bins and many more.

The principal purpose of VJFS is to maintain the co-ordination between the farmers and co-operative societies and to create support and strength for them. The objective of the company is to perform maximum processing work of agro based products, to minimize the spoilage of fruits and vegetables and to get a reasonable price for the produce of the farmers.

Our processing facility and infrastructure is located at Gandevi in Navsari district of Gujarat state. It is replete with natural beauty and free of pollution. It is an extremely fertile zone for agriculture and horticulture produce, food processing. The organization set up is managed by the federation. All the co-operative societies are active members of this federation. The fruits and vegetables are fresh, of a high quality and also in a very good condition since they are directly procured from the co-operative societies. All the production activities are carried out in a very hygienic condition as per quality and food safety standards requirement for domestic and various export markets. We are certified with ISO 22000:2005, USFDA and FSSAI. In addition to domestic market, we have been exporting Mango Pulp along with other fruits and vegetable processed products since 2001. The major exporting countries namely are UK, Canada, USA, Germany, Gulf Countries, etc.
